Jerry Recco makes Craig happy. We learned that before Craig documented the latest sign that Geno Smith is maturing before our eyes -- which makes Boomer smile.
From there Jerry got to his updating thing, beginning with the 8-1 Red Sox triumph over the Cardinals in Game 1 of the World Series, thanks in large part to a first-inning error and a botched fly ball in the second. Carlos Beltran robbed David Ortiz of a would-be grand slam, but injured his ribs on the play and was forced to leave the game.
