Jerry's skills were on display shortly after 6 a.m. as the update maven entered the Allstate Studio and did his thing, beginning the Jets after they got throttled in Cincinnati by the Bengals, falling 49-9. Boomer and Craig discussed what the 4-4 Jets have to do to make the playoffs, looking ahead at their schedule and handicapping Geno Smith's growth as an NFL quarterback.
Moving right along, the Giants were on the winning side of things when their game with the Eagles concluded. With their 15-7 triumph, Big Blue improved to 2-6 and believe or not, are very much alive in the floundering NFC East.
