Brooke Shields, Janeane Garofalo Among Stars Performing At N.J. Gilda Radner Tribute

HACKENSACK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- An all-star lineup is slated to perform in Hackensack this weekend as a comedy tribute to original Saturday Night Live cast member Gilda Radner, who died in 1989 of ovarian cancer.

"Still Laughing - A Comedy Tribute To Gilda Radner" takes place Sunday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Bergen County Academies Auditorium.  Brooke Shields, Janeane Garofalo, Rachel Dratch, Joe Piscopo, and local comedy favorites, Vince August and ComedySportz improv will perform.

Proceeds will benefit Gilda's Club Northern New Jersey, a cancer-support community serving 12 counties in North Jersey as well as southern Rockland County.

"We are thrilled to once again present a major comedy event to remember and share hilarious laughs in the spirit of Gilda Radner," said Ruth Dugan, Gilda's Club NNJ. "Having former 'Saturday Night Live' stars this year, these performances will closely channel Gilda, who emerged as one of America's top and most beloved comediennes when she appeared on SNL."

Tickets are on sale now and range from $29 to $59 each. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
