It was a rough football Sunday for the locals, as both the Jets and the Giants came up short against their opponents, thus putting a damper on their respective playoff hopes.
Boomer and Craig were all over the Jets' 19-3 loss to the Ravens, which dropped Gang Green to 5-6 and raised many questions with regards to the quarterback position, as Geno Smith completed the month of November without a touchdown pass. Smith's last scoring strike came back on October 20th in a 30-27, OT win over the Patriots. How 'bout that?!
From a viewing football perspective, the Cowboys-Giants game provided more eye-candy after Big Blue fought their way back to tie the game at 21 apiece, only to fall by a field-goal as time expired. Now after winning four in a row, Tom Coughlin's Giants are just 4-7 and all but out of any type of postseason conversation.
