Police: Teen Punched Woman In the Face Before Fleeing The Scene

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Police are looking for a teenager who assaulted a woman in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon.

At 12:40 p.m. a woman was walking along New Lots Ave in East New York when she was punched in the face by a teenager.

The suspect fled the scene. The victim was not taken to the hospital.

While the incident remains under investigation authorities do not believe that this was a ‘Knockout’ attack.

Anybody with information regarding this incident has been asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
