NORTH BAY SHORE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Police in Suffolk County were investigating Thursday, after a man was found dead in the middle of a road next to a bicycle.
Around 5:35 a.m., police arrived at Manatuck Boulevard near Cedar Drive in North Bay Shore to find the body, after a 911 call. Published reports indicated that the man was found with the bicycle on top of his body in the middle of the road.
The victim, Naim Isiah Al-Hakeem, 21, of Bay Shore, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office.
A preliminary examination indicated that Al-Hakeem had been shot, police said.
