A lot occurred before, during and after Jerry Recco's first update of the morning.

Before, Boomer and Craig discussed the idea of John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman in the WFAN family, as the Yankees will now call the FAN their new radio home, and then we listened to some play-by-play magic courtesy of Kevin Harlan.

That set the stage for Jerry, who began with the documentation of his Cowboys' 45-28 loss to the Bears last night in Chicago, officially putting a bow on Week 14 of the NFL season.  We heard more from the aforementioned Harlan as he was working his play-by-play magic all night long with Boomer by his side.  The guys briefly discussed the quarterback controversy brewing in Chicago, before Boomer threatened to punch Craig in the face.

Plus, Antonio Cromartie's status is uncertain for the Jets matchup with Cam Newton and the Panthers Sunday in Carolina, Rex Ryan talks about preparing for Newton and Patriots lose Rob Gronkowski for the season.

Joe Torre, Bobby Cox and Tony La Russa were all unanimously elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame by the expansion committee - Yankees late owner George Steinbrenner was not.  Knicks-Cavs tonight in Cleveland, the Nets are hoping to have Deron Williams and Paul Pierce back tonight when they welcome the Celtics to Brooklyn and word is recently demoted  Lawrence Frank has 'lawyered up,' which led to Boomer and Craig to do some speculating...
