Boomer & Carton: Jerry Provides Some Friday Flavor
Craig was thrilled to announce that he and Boomer will be hosting the upcoming ‘Super Comedy Jam,’ which will take place January 29th and feature prominent comedians the likes of Dave Attell, Nick DiPaolo and Jay Mohr among others.
That brought us to Jerry Recco – who will never be mistaken for a comedian – but is very good at what he does, which is provide informative and entertaining sports updates for the Boomer & Carton Morning Show. So after blaming his poor physical condition on allergies, Jerry got started with Robinson Cano’s telling introduction as a member of the Seattle Mariners, during which he said that he felt disrespected by his old club.
In other baseball news, free agent second baseman second Omar Infante is apparently looking for more than the Yankees are willing to offer.
Plus, Santonio holmes provides some fodder for the Panthers bulletin-board by taking a shot at their ‘weak’ secondary, the Nets won their third straight with a 102-93 win over the Clippers (Brook Lopez left the game with what is being called a sprained-ankle) and not only did the Rangers lose 4-2 to the Blue Jackets, but center Derick Brassard missed the game with a swollen backside – I thought hockey players were supposed to be tough?!?!?
