Cops Seek Man Wanted In Connection With Attempted Armed Robbery In Queens

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in identifying a man wanted in connection with an attempted armed robbery in Queens.

At 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, a 66-year-old woman was unloading her car in the driveway of her Fresh Meadows home when she was approached by a man with a gun.

When the suspect demanded the woman's valuables she began to scream, he then struck her in the head with the gun and fled the scene empty-handed.

The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 20 and 25. He is 5'11", weighs 180-lbs, and was wearing a black skull-cap and a black jacket.
