Both the Giants and the Jets took one on the chin yesterday, which has pretty much become the norm around these parts.

Big Blue is officially playing out the string after their playoff hopes were dashed by the Chargers last week in San Diego and their lackluster outing against the Seahawks was a clear indication of that as they fell 23-0.

As for the Jets, they entered their matchup with the Panthers down in Carolina still alive in the AFC playoff hunt and managed to keep it close before succumbing to a 30-20 defeat - all but ending their postseason dreams (a Baltimore win tonight in Detroit would make it official).

So with all of that said, Boomer and Craig got this Monday morning edition of the Extravaganza started by reflecting on the football locals as only they can.  Craig called for Eli Manning, who threw five more interceptions yesterday, to be benched for the Giants' last two games (@ Detroit, vs. Redskins) and declared that he will not be spanking a pig for the Jets because Gang Green is done...
