Cops: Suspect Squirts Lighter Fluid Inside Queens Business, Demands Cash
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Queens are looking for a man who they said is seen on surveillance video squirting lighter fluid inside a check-cashing business before robbing it.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the ATN Financial Services in Elmhurst.
The suspect can been seen in the video spraying the lighter fluid around the counter before taking out a lighter and demanding cash from an employee, police said.
The employee handed over an unknown amount of money and the suspect fled, police said. No one was hurt.
