Video Shows Suspect Leaving Dog For Dead In Long Island Dumpster

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — New video was released by the Suffolk County SPCA on Thursday night, of a man who allegedly left a dog for dead in a Long Island dumpster.

The tape was taken on Monday night in West Islip. It shows a man in a dark-colored SUV dropping a trash bag into a dumpster at a gas station, CBS 2 reported.

Inside of the bag was a Maltese wearing a pink leash and collar.

A $2,000 reward has been offered in the case.
