NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A Bronx man was arrested and charged Sunday morning in a stabbing that left a man dead in Harlem this weekend.

Jovanny Paulino, 25, was charged with murder and felony assault in the Saturday afternoon incident.

The attack happened across the street from a Fairway supermarket on 12th Avenue, police said.

Police said two employees got into a fight while working in a storage area across from the supermarket, CBS 2 reported.

The fight was taken over to a parking lot, where police said one man stabbed the other.

The 22-year-old victim – identified as Pedro Miguel Payero Valerio of the Bronx — was taken to St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead.

A New York Daily News report said the suspect and victim were both employees of the store.
