Giants RB David Wilson 'Moons' NYC From Hospital Room

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Giants running back David Wilson took to social media on Friday to let fans know his neck surgery was a success.

"Thank God surgery went well Dr. surprised when they came in and saw me standing and walkin to bathroom on my own haha #soldier #blessed," Wilson tweeted Friday morning.

The Giants' running back had a photo taken of himself 'mooning' New York City. He stood up in a his hospital gown and showed his backside to the Big Apple.

He posted the photo on Instagram with the message: "Hold up!!!! hold my phone (drake voice) while I moon NY traffic from the hospital room..."

Wilson injured his neck against the Philadelphia Eagles on October 6 and finished the season on the injured reserve.

The rookie running back ran for 146 yards on 44 rushing attempts and scored one touchdown in five games.
