NORTH BERGEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Police on Monday released a sketch of one of four suspects accused in a vicious home invasion in North Bergen, N.J.

Investigators said four masked robbers broke into a family’s home early this past Thursday. Three adults were tied up, while a fourth, Rolando, said the suspects dragged him out of bed from a deep sleep and pistol whipped him.

He said the attack was so brutal, there’s an imprint of the barrel of the gun on his head.

And attack didn’t end there. “He tied up my wife and my father in-law too,” Rolando said.

Police said the home invasion was a case of mistaken identity. “He asking for money and drug. No money, no drug,” Rolando said of the ordeal.

Rolando said the suspects wouldn’t listen and tied him up, but he was able to untie himself and ran to a neighbor’s house for help, Sloan reported. The suspects were so startled, they took off.

The suspect in the sketch was described as being between 5 feet 9 and 5 feet 11 inches tall and 25 to 30 years old, with a newly-formed, and neatly-trimmed beard.

Anyone with information was asked to call North Bergen police at (201) 392-2100.
