I think it’s fair to say that nobody saw that coming.  The Seattle Seahawks took a 2-0 lead over the Denver Broncos just 12 seconds into to Super Bowl XLVIII and never looked back.

The NFL’s No. 1 defense throttled Peyton Manning and the league’s top offensive unit, culminating in a convincing 43-8 win for Pete Carroll’s crew, and it was linebacker Malcolm Smith who took home the hardware for MVP.

With all that said, Boomer and Craig got this post-Super Bowl edition of the Morning Extravaganza started with their collective takes on what went down last night at MetLife Stadium, officially putting an end to the 2013 season – in a rather anticlimactic manner, I might add.

So what happened to Peyton?  How good is this Seahawks squad?  What about Renee Fleming’s rendition of our national anthem and the Red Hot Chili Pepper/Bruno Mars halftime show?
