Boomer and Craig provided an entertaining open to this Monday morning edition of the extravaganza, which was made pretty easy by all they had to talk about, beginning with the news coming out of Missouri after All-American defensive lineman and NFL hopeful Michael Sam announced on Sunday that he is gay. Plenty to discuss there.

In addition to that, the Knicks lost again but Mike Woodson isn’t worried about losing his job, Alex Rodriguez drops all of his lawsuits and will apparently fade into oblivion while he serves his suspension and finally, Oklahoma State star Marcus Smart will serve a three-game suspension for shoving a fan Saturday night.

So an eventful weekend led to an action-packed open, because that’s how things work around here…
