So much for fresh starts and new beginnings - the Knicks started the post-All-Star Game portion of their schedule with a bad loss to the Grizzlies, lowlighted by a late defensive lapse, dropping them to a paltry record of 20-33.
With the NBA trade deadline fast approaching on Thursday and the Knicks continuing to flounder, Boomer and Craig got the 'Hump Day' party started talking about the sad state of the New York Knickerbockers before moving on to Robinson Cano and the growing feud between Yankees hitting coach Kevin Long and Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon.
Not to be left out, Derek Jeter is scheduled to meet the media later today to talk about the Yankees upcoming season and his pending retirement. Juicy stuff...
