GLAM4GOOD: Transforming Lives With Makeovers

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- The Couch performed some makeover magic Friday with the help of style and beauty expert Mary Alice Stephenson, founder of GLAM4GOOD, an organization that gives life-changing makeovers.

"I've been in the fashion business as a style and beauty expert for 20-plus years and I have been using fashion to style stars for magazine covers, for the red carpet, and I started working with nonprofits across the country and it really was probably the best thing I've ever done with fashion," said Stephenson.

GLAM4GOOD uses makeovers to transform the lives of at-risk teens, veterans, cancer survivors, and others.

"When you feel good and you look good you're far more able to deal with difficult things," Stephenson said.

Stephenson brought her hair and makeup team to pamper and transform Vanalia Leslie Culbertson who suffers from a chronic stomach disease.
