After a busy weekend it behooves you to tune in to Jerry Recco's Monday contribution to the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza, as the update maven has a knack for getting us all up to speed, including the Dynamic Radio Duo, who were all ears.

Might Phil Jackson be joining the Knicks front office sometime soon?  Jerry fills us in on the latest details surrounding the potential hire, this after Boomer refused to sing for Craig coming back from a break.

Knicks head coach Mike Woodson had little interest in talking about Jackson, while Carmelo Anthony knew very little about the offer apparently made to the Hall of Famer .

On the hardwood, the Nets kept to their winning ways thanks in large part to a vengeful performance courtesy of Marcus Thorton (pictured high-fiving Deron Williams) against his former Sacramento team.  Jason Kidd's squad has won five of their last six and improved to 31-30 with the 104-89 win over the Kings in Brooklyn, but the victory did come at a cost as both Paul Pierce (shoulder) and Andrei Kirilenko (ankle) went down with injuries.

Plus, the Heat fall prey to Joakim Noah and the Bulls, afterwards LeBron James dismissed the thought of rivalries in the NBA, Jets release Antonio Cromartie, John Sterling uses his spring training to get it right, Craig makes sure to include Suzyn Waldman. Terry Collins and the Mets are rolling, Hendrick Lundqvist gets his 300th career win and a college basketball scoreboard puts a bow on things...
