NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Firefighters were battling a fire in the loading dock of the luxury hotel One57 Saturday night.

The Fire Department of New York said the fire at the 75-story building located on West 57th Street was reported just before 9 p.m.

A department spokesman said the fire was contained in the loading dock and no injuries have been reported.

There were at least 75 firefighters on the scene, 1010 WINS’ Juliet Papa reported.

The Midtown high rise, which is scheduled to open later this year, has had its fair share of problems over the years, 1010 WINS reported.

When Superstorm Sandy struck the Tri-State area in 2012, a crane on top of the building broke due to high winds and was dangling precariously over West 57th Street.

Nearly a year later, officials had to close West 57th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues for several hours after a tower crane hoisting a load on the same building became stuck.

And just this week Community Board Five voted to recommend the state liquor authority not grant a liquor license to the part of the building that will be a hotel, citing neighbors’ objections over expected noise, 1010 WINS reported.

One57 will be the tallest residential building in New York when it opens.

Some full-floor apartments have reportedly sold for more than $90 million.
