Cops Look For Suspects In Gang Assault, Shooting At Bronx Gas Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a group of assailants who assaulted two men at a Bronx gas station Saturday morning, shooting one of them.

The assault occurred around 1 a.m. in the parking lot of the Gulf Gas Station located at 1255 East Gun Hill Road when a large number of suspects arrived and began arguing with the two 25-year-old male victims, police said.

The dispute escalated, and the suspects began punching the victims, police said. One of the suspects -- a black man with dreadlocks -- shot one man in the torso, police said. The suspects then fled the scene.

Police have released of surveillance video of the suspects.

The victim whom was shot was transported to Jacobi Medical Center. The other man refused medical treatment at the scene.
