BALDWIN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Police on Long Island have arrested a robbery suspect who they say has struck at least three times in the past month.
Patricia Hernandez, 45, was arrested Tuesday on robbery charges, police said.
According to investigators, she robbed a bank and two shoe stores in East Meadow, Freeport and Oceanside.
In each case, detectives said Hernandez presents a demand note and then walks out to a getaway car with an undisclosed amount of cash. In one incident, police said Hernandez flashed a gun.
