Melius, 69, was hospitalized for more than a week after being shot in the head in broad daylight by a masked intruder, police said at the time.

Meantime, it's business as usual at the Gold Coast estate with a number of weddings and charity events scheduled.

The restaurant is also open daily for patrons, Hall reported.

Melius, who underwent eye surgery, can be seen at the castle still recovering from his injuries.

Police have previously said they were looking into Melius' personal and professional dealings as part of the investigation.
