L.I. Postal Worker Accused Of Selling Marijuana From Mail Truck

MERRICK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Long Island postal worker is accused of selling marijuana from his mail truck.

Jimmy Henry, 29, of Freeport was caught selling marijuana to a woman in the parking lot of the Merrick Post Office on Wednesday evening, police said.

He faces charges of unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal sale of marijuana.

Jennie Pappas, 24, of Wantagh, who police said purchased the marijuana, was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Both have been issued appearance tickets and are due in court on April 23.

The post office declined comment, citing privacy laws.
