NYPD Honors Murdered Officer, Philip Cardillo, With Ride Through Harlem
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Police remembered one of their own on Sunday, with a ride through Harlem.
Cops made their way to the 28th Precinct where murdered patrolman Philip Cardillo had been assigned.
Monday will mark 42 years from the day that Cardillo was gunned down after being lured to a nearby mosque for a phony emergency.
Cardillo’s killer was never caught.
