SAINT JAMES, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Suffolk County police are looking for a man who they said stole a cancer donation box from a Long Island gas station.
The incident happened at the Citgo located at 545 North Country Road in Saint James on March 9 at approximately 1:45 p.m.
The suspect swiped the donation box, which contained cash, from the counter, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
