The Rangers answered the Game 7 bell last night at the Garden, out-skating the Flyers to a 2-1 final and setting up a date with the Penguins beginning Friday night in Pittsburgh.

Boomer was predictably grinning from ear to ear after watching his beloved Blueshirts do their thing on Broadway, while his little buddy Craigie donned a Rick Nash jersey, which he will be wearing for the foreseeable future after losing a bet to his cousin. That's right, it was the Rangers that garnered the Dynamic Radio Duo's attention early on.

Not to be overlooked, the Nets were in action Wednesday night in Toronto looking to take a 3-2 advantage in their best-of-seven series with the Raptors, who had the same thing on their minds.  Well when the dust settled, despite outscoring the home team 44-24 in the fourth quarter, Jason Kidd's club came up short, thus 'embarrassing' themselves in the process according to Craig and setting up a must-win Friday night in Brooklyn.

So with the Yanks and Mets both getting rained out, it was the NHL and NBA playoffs at the forefront as things got started on this Thursday edition of the Morning Extravaganza...
