NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — New York Mets pitcher Jenrry Mejia brought a live arm — and his happy feet — to Yankee Stadium for Monday night’s Subway Series opener.

Check out his fancy exit off the mound after striking out Brett Gardner to end the eighth inning (skip to 0:34):

Mejia was making his first appearance in relief after being demoted to the bullpen. He impressed, striking out two in 1.1 scoreless innings and lowering his ERA to 4.89 in the Mets’ 9-7 win over the Yankees.
