We heard all about the major happenings in the world of sports, as told by the one and only Jerry Recco, who organized the information into update form. But he did not get to deliver it until after Craig gave Boomer a couple of personalized gifts for his dogs and we heard about the Booms' night with his new BFF Martin Short at a Toy-R-Us charity event.

Jerry then began with the Subway Series, which came to an end after a 1-0 Yankees win, in a game that featured great pitching all around.  After the game, Suzyn Waldman caught up with Alfonso Soriano after he drove in the game's only run. The conversation inspired Craig to pay tribute to the trailblazer that is Suzyn.

Plus, the Pacers ended their series with the Wizards thanks to a 93-80 Game 6 victory in Washington and will now face the Heat in an Eastern Conference finals rematch, the Thunder also won their conference semifinals match-up in six games, downing the Clippers 104-98 behind 39 points abd 16 rebounds from Kevin Durant.  Derek Fisher has suddenly emerged as the leading candidate to fill the Knicks' head coaching vacancy and former Patriot Aaron Hernandez has been charged with two more murders...
