Woman's Friend Chases Suspect, Puts Him In Choke Hold, Forces Apology

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A Florida woman’s first trip to New York ended in the hospital.

The woman was punched in the face at the 9th Street PATH Station early Sunday morning by Ibrahim King, police said.

King, 36, is accused of breaking her nose and orbital bone, police said.

A friend who was with her at the time chased after King, grabbed him and put him in a choke hold, police said.

He also forced an apology out of King, CBS 2 reported.
