Suffolk County Police Arrest 10 In Overnight DWI Saturation Patrol
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Suffolk County police arrested 10 people for driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired by drugs during an overnight saturation patrol in Patchogue and Holbrook.
The operation was conducted to prevent injuries and fatalities during the Memorial Day Holiday weekend, police said.
The following individuals were charged with driving while intoxicated; Douglas McCarthy, Rafael Tejada, 22, Stephanie Kawko, 22, Enoel Cruz, 31, Thomas Tortorici, 33, Frank Montalvo, 44, Lance Martins, 31, and Juan Campoverde, 37.
Jasheem Pulley, 19, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, and Wilson Lopez, 18, was charged with driving while ability impaired by the combined influence of alcohol and drugs.
These individuals were expected to be arraigned on Saturday at the First District Court in Central Islip.
