Stephanie & Tony’s Table: Corn Salsa
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Corn salsa is a perfect addition to any Memorial Day meal. On Monday, CBS 2’s Stephanie and Tony Tantillo were in the kitchen with their recipe for the perfect side to any grilling session.
3 Ears of Corn (husked)
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 ounces Canola Oil
1 Medium Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
1 Medium Green Bell Pepper (chopped)
½ Red Onion (chopped)
½ Bunch Cilantro Leaves
Heat a pan on medium heat with canola oil and add corn, salt and pepper. Saute for about 5 minutes. Add in peppers and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally, add in red onion. Finish cooking for 3 more minutes, mix in cilantro and serve.
(NOTE: Prep times can vary by equipment. Be sure to check that meat is fully cooked.)
