Cops: Man Slashed In The Forehead When Bronx Verbal Dispute Turns Violent

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in tracking down a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that took place in the Bronx.

On Sunday, June 1, at 11:20 a.m. a 43-year-old man was standing in front of 1900 Grand Concourse when he became involved in a verbal dispute with the suspect, police said.

The suspect allegedly slashed the man across the forehead with an unknown object, according to authorities. The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was treated for his wound and released.

The suspect has been described as a white male, he is 6' tall, weighs 170-lbs and has short grey hair.
