Police Arrest 15-Year-Old Boy In Yonkers Pizzeria Shooting

YONKERS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in a shooting outside a Yonkers pizzeria that injured three people, including a 9-year-old girl.

Detectives identified the teen as the shooter. He is facing charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The shooting occurred outside Pizza D'Ora on Palisades Avenue around 6 p.m. Friday.

Surveillance cameras captured the chaos inside a nearby convenience store as customers heard the gunshots and scrambled for cover.

The 9-year-old girl was shot in the chest. Also wounded were a 31-year-old woman who suffered a gunshot wound to the arm, and a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.

The suspect's name has not been released because of his age.
