After taking a look at Al Dukes' strained one-sided relationship with Yankees PR guy Jason Zillo and inviting Boomer to watch tonight's Braves-Mets game at Citi Field in-style (he declined), Craig turned it over to the update maven that is Jerry Recco, but not before questioning his Mets fandom.

Jerry was eventually permitted to deliver his prepared material, beginning with the ever changing NBA free-agency picture, before moving on to the baseball as the Yanks won in Cleveland 5-4 thanks in large part to a Jacoby Ellsbury 14th inning long-ball, but placed Masahiro Tanaka on the 15 day DL with elbow soreness.  The Mets got their fourth straight victory with a 4-1 over the Braves - with that said, Craig says 'bet the mortgage' on the Braves tonight (do with that information what you wish).

Jerry wrapped things up with the details from soccer's World Cup as Argentina defeated Netherlands to advance to the final against Germany...
