Despite a light night in the sports world, Jerry Recco was still expected to deliver a sports update, which he did. As is always the case, he made it both informative and entertaining because he is a professional.

We got a British Open update, an idea for a wild round of golf and some name dropping from Craig — all before Jerry even began.

When Jerry finally began, his initial focus was on the golf tourney taking place at Royal Liverpool, as leader Rory McIlroy took a page out of Boomer’s book with regards to his approach, and John Daly took an approach all his own with regards to his attire.

The Yankees host the Reds in the Bronx and a third knee exam could mean surgery for CC Sabathia. The Mets will be in San Diego to take on the Padres and Jenrry Mejia is confident in the Mets’ playoff chances.
