Cops: Suspects Beat Up Brooklyn Woman, Stole Cash During Home Invasion

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in locating two people wanted in connection with a home invasion that took place in Brooklyn.

At 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the suspects allegedly robbed a woman on Riverdale Avenue. Police said the pair broke the front door of the residence, pushed a 77-year-old woman to the ground, and assaulted her.

One of the suspects threatened to kill the victim while demanding money. The victim turned over a purse which contained $50, she suffered pain and bruising in her arms as a result of the attack, police said.

Police are looking for Tanaysia Thomas-Mcleod, also known as Tanaysia Mcleod, and Sharod Mcleod in connection with the crime.

Tanaysia has been described as a black female, she is 22-years-old, 5'7", 145-lbs, with brown eyes, and black hair.

Sharod has been described as a black male, with brown eyes, and black hair. He is between 5'5" and 5'6" and weighs approximately 140-lbs.
