Smash-And-Grab Thieves Target Tourneau Store At The Westchester Mall
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — It was a scary scene at The Westchester mall Sunday morning after police say three men robbed a store.
The incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. at the Tourneau watch store.
Police said the suspects used hammers to break the glass cases while panicked shoppers ducked for cover, CBS 2 reported.
An armed guard reportedly struggled with the thieves and fell through a glass window. However, no injuries were reported.
Shortly after the robbery, a fire was also reported inside the Anthropologie clothing store.
