Woman Accused Of Stealing Nearly $60K Worth Of Legos Out On Bail
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) — A Long Island woman was out of custody on bail Monday evening, after being charged with stealing $59,000 worth of Lego sets to sell on eBay.
Nassau County detectives said she stole the toys from a storage facility in Island Park.
They said she took the Legos to another storage facility in Rockville Centre.
Information on an attorney for Haas was not immediately available. A phone number listed for her address was not in service this past weekend.
