Black Powder Prompts Hazmat Response On Manhattan's West Side
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Black powder was found in an envelope at 99 10th Avenue, officials said Thursday.
The incident took place at around 10:15 a.m. on the 7th floor of the building, officials said.
One person came in contact with the substance and is being evaluated.
Hazardous materials teams and emergency responders are trying to determine what the substance is.
