The Yankees bruised and battered Tigers starter David Price on the way to an 8-4 win, and their recent play has Craigie thinking big.

We’re not just talking about getting into the playoffs via the Wild Card. Craigie is setting the bar high and talking about catching Buck Showalter and his AL East-leading Baltimore Orioles.  The O’s currently hold a six-game lead over the Bombers, with eight head-to-head matchups remaining.

So opening things up this Thursday morning, Boomer & Craig discussed the outlook for the Yankees as the month of September fast approaches. The guys also tackled the story surrounding the Giants, as they prepare to take on the Patriots tonight in their fifth and final preseason tuneup.  Will the starters play on offense?  If so, for how long?  Is there any hope for Eli Manning and Big Blue’s offense?

All of that and some reflection, as the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza turns the page and prepares to embark on year number eight of the Big Show. How ’bout that?!?!?
