NY Fugitive Arrested At Ultimate Frisbee Tournament In Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A man wanted for an armed robbery in New York eluded authorities for four years until they caught up with him Sunday while he was playing at an ultimate Frisbee tournament in Oregon.

Police in Eugene, Oregon, arrested 31-year-old Jahson Marryshow around 5 p.m. Sunday, KVAL-TV reported.

Marryshow was wanted for a 2010 armed bank robbery in Ulster County, police said. He allegedly stole a car and burned down a barn during his escape.

Marryshow's name appears on Ulster County's 10 most-wanted list. According to the sheriff's office there, his last previous known address was in Woodstock.

The U.S. Marshal's Service and local police worked to find out where he was most recently staying after getting a tip that he was living in Eugene.

Police say Marryshow didn't try to escape from arresting officers Sunday. He's being held in the Lane County Jail in Oregon.
