Search For Suspect In Attempted Sexual Assault Of Teen In Greenwich Village
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The NYPD is searching for the suspect in a sexual assault in Greenwich Village.
Police say on September 12, around 4:20 p.m., the suspected lured a 17-year-old man to the lower level of Hilary Gardens Garage on 741 Broadway.
There, the suspect tried to sexually assault the victim, who ran away.
The victim was not injured in the incident, police say.
The suspect is described as being around 20 years old, 150 pounds, 5-foot-6 and has a medium complexion.
