Antrel Rolle: Sex Has Helped Prince Amukamara Become A Better Player

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Prince Amukamara is off to a great start for the Giants this season, and safety Antrel Rolle has an interesting theory as to why his teammate is playing so well.

Amukamara got married this offseason, and the 25-year-old previously stated that he would not have sex prior to marriage due to religious beliefs.

Has his lifestyle change led to more production on the field?

Rolle certainly believes so.

"I think it all ties into one another, as far as him getting married, being able to (have sex)," Rolle said in regard to the fourth-year player. "He's just developing more as a man and accepting challenges and being the dominant player that we need him to be that we know he's capable of."

In four games this season for Big Blue, the former first-round pick has recorded 25 combined tackles and two interceptions.

"For a man, that could definitely help him out," Rolle said. "For a man ... I'm just being honest ... it's helping him out. He walks around with a little more swagger, which is something that we need, which is something that we love."
