Jets Send Leah Still Teddy Bear, Balloons As 4-Year-Old Recovers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Nothing but negativity has surrounded the Jets as of late, and deservedly so.

But sometimes it's important to remember that it's not just about what happens on the field. Wins and losses aren't everything. When given an opportunity, it's about what players and teams can do to make a difference in someone's life.

Leah Still, the daughter of Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still, is recovering from surgery in which cancerous tumors were removed from her body.

As has been well-documented, NFL teams are doing all that they can to lift Still's spirits and provide her with moral support.

On Monday morning, coming off their 31-17 loss to the Broncos, the Jets did their part in trying to make a difference. The organization sent the four-year-old girl a teddy bear and balloons.

Leah received a "Frozen"-themed care package from the Texans last week. Two days prior, while the Bengals were playing the Patriots in Foxborough, Pats cheerleaders wore Devon Still jerseys. Patriots owner Robert Kraft also donated $25,000 to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Leah's honor.

The youngster was tragically diagnosed with neuroblastoma over the summer.
