Boomer & Carton: Desperate Times Seem To Be Going Around

Desperate Times Seem To Be Going Around

Wednesday's Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza began with Craig calling the Giants out for being "desperate." This was in reaction to Giants wide-receivers coach Sean Ryan putting the onus on rookie wide-receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to pick up the slack for the injured Victor Cruz.

Considering the Giants have a two-time Super Bowl MVP on their roster, Craigie says the fact that they (by they, we mean the aforementioned Sean Ryan) are turning to Beckham Jr., and not Eli Manning, to be "the man" is not a good thing.

Boomer thinks his radio partner might be making "something out of nothing" here, citing the fact that Tom Coughlin did not echo Ryan's thoughts.  With that said, Boomer has no problem with Beckham Jr. being touted as "the man" and believes that Craig's "blowing off some steam for Gang Green." That prompted Craig to inform us that Jets fans like him "like to get lose, "whatever that means.

In addition to all of that goodness, the Royals got thumped in Game 1 of the World Series, and Craig filled us in on how Ned Yost's club almost didn't make the playoffs thanks in large part to an app called "Clash of Clans."

How bout' that?
