Monmouth County-Based Coffee Maker Donates Scoop Of Profits To Wounded Vet
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - A New Jersey coffee maker is donating a scoop of its profits to help veterans.
As WCBS 880's Levon Putney reported, Monmouth County-based Olde Glory Coffee donated a $10,000 grant to Hunter Alarcon.

"This is truly incredible," the 26-year-old said.
The company donates 50 cents per pound of coffee sold to help wounded veterans.
The brains behind the grant was Olde Glory owner and Vietnam Army veteran Abe Dortheimer.
"We're doing our part in a little way," Dortheimer said.
The gift came right in time for Alarcon, a father-to-be who is studying at Rutgers to be a veterinarian.
"That's one of the beautiful things about the veteran community that's starting these days," Alarcon said.
