A And C Train Service Resumes In Upper Manhattan After Disruption Due To Smoke
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The MTA says A and C train service in Upper Manhattan has resumed with residual delays after an earlier disruption due to a smoke condition that apparently began in a transformer.
The Fire Department says no injuries have been reported.
The situation began around 2:20 p.m. Friday at the 181st Street subway station.

MTA spokesman Kevin Ortiz said there was a train in the station at the time and customers were asked to go outside.
During the disruption, there was no A train service between 207th and 145th streets. C train service between 168th and 145th streets was also suspended.
