11/11 CBS2 Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

CBS Meteorologist

Hello, everyone...

The clouds and fog we saw this morning have thinned out a bit... expect partly to mostly sunny skies the remainder of the afternoon. That said, temperatures should have no problem working their way into the mid 60s, which is a few degrees warmer than yesterday. Not bad for November!

The clouds will make a comeback tonight, though, as we see more moisture work its way into our area. Expect mostly cloudy skies with fog and drizzle developing into the overnight hours.

Fog and drizzle will linger into the morning rush tomorrow, so be sure to factor that into your trip. Expect a lingering chance of drizzle or light rain into the late morning hours (possibly even early afternoon) before a northwest wind kicks in and dries us out. We'll get into the 60s once again, but it will be the last 60+° day for a while.

Much cooler weather is on tap for Thursday into Friday with highs in the upper 40s and mid 40s, respectively. There's still a chance for some little light rain, maybe even some snow north and west from Thursday night into early Friday, but we'll have to see how the models handle this system over the next day or so.

Want to know just how cold it's going to get? Want to know if there are any signs of a warm up? Stay tuned!
